birthday suit to cover my Birthday Suit

Yesterday I resolved to eventually visit the district for all things vintage, Paddington. This area of Brisbane allows you to experience a rollercoaster ride on your very own local roads. Very hilly with excellent city views and plenty of trees. The thing that makes this area a haven for vintage/ antiques and cute little boutiques are the shops themselves. Most are in regular little cottages, where you feel like you are visiting a friend, walking up their front path, onto their veranda and through the rooms of their house. Most of these stores have left the rooms as is and it's very enjoyable wandering through the maze. Gives the shopper the feeling that they have been invited especially into an intimate place to discover and explore all the nooks and crannies.

I had intended mainly to go to the area solely for the purpose of an Endeavor Foundation Retro thrift store but ended up dipping into many other shops along the way. My biggest finds where at the op shop:

a bag of books for a dollar
a red wraparound knit top
a blue pleated skirt
and a very 70's long sleeve knit top

This way I can pretty much guarantee no-one else will have the same clothes as me! Love how my wardrobe is slowly starting to look more cheerful and colourful
