Fabric Day

Today I decided to tackle the ever growing pile of things in the corner of my room that needed fixing, repairing adjusting or just plain making from scratch. The sewing projects that you're always convinced you'll get round to eventually. Well I made a start! Here's a few of the projects I got on the runway...

This skirt was rescued from a local op shop and reinvented.

Hemmed this skirt and make it fit better for an over top of jeans hippie look.

Made two small cushions out of this material...not yet finished!

Going to make this tomorrow, cut the satin on the bias for a fallaway look.

I need some suggestions on what to do with this very cool owl fabric. I don't have very much material so I'm thinking it will also end up as a pillow. Any other ideas?
