Filling up new space

I am still in a euphoric state thanks to my newly organised and reinvented room! I had been working on different storage ideas to reduce the amount of clothes and junk that end up on the floor, mostly due to the fact that when all clothes are clean, they don't fit in the wardrobe/drawers! So I settled my heart on an ikea bookshelf and eliminated my existing desk. To my surprise mum and dad even agreed to pay for it so they could keep the bookshelf when I move out...!

I'm finally able to have all these nooks and crannies to house my books and cds and just things. I have created a few colour selective shelves with things I have collected at op shops and spraypainted (or just left as found.) Still a work in progress but well on my way...

On the same day as shuffling, rearranging my room and setting up this bookcase I got a shower curtain I had ordered from Urban Outfitters (on sale, of course) and found to my surprise that it would fit perfectly as my window curtain. I love the ruffles, really freshes up the space and filters in a soft light.

It's so liberating having an organised room, it's stayed clean for over four days now, not even one jumper left on the floor. A-maz-ing!
