a brand new skin...

No I did not get new skin. My ipod did though! Yesterday and today I got two things I had ordered over the internet. It was so exciting to get something in the mail! You must understand that I have never bought anything over the net before except plane tickets. So this is all new to me. I think this may be the beginning of an ebay/etsy addiction. Noooooo! Today my mail gift to myself was a gelaskin. If you have not heard of them, well, check them out already! They have tonnes of artists whose work they turn into little skins to dress up your phone, ipod or laptop. Very cool.

My other purchase was a CD that came at the recommendation of my brother Sam. An electro- type band called Metronomy. I have watched their videoclip "I've got a thing for you" so many times on youtube that I thought I should do it justice and make the purchase.

I can't recall if I have mentioned my hamburger phone before but it was on the desk when I was taking a pic of my ipod and so thought it should deserve a bit of spotlight too. I pestered Sam when in LA about acquiring such a phone and I think she was very glad when I found it. I'm sure in her eyes it confirmed just how much of a dork I am.

And in other news, my brother Sam cut his dreads off! Looks a lot less scruffy now but is still a bogan at heart.
