I agree, you must be A-Class. Thank you for clearing that up.
say whaaa?
We decided to stop for our Chrissy lunch at Lake Macquarie, it was pretty spesh day being Bonny's birthday AND Christmas so we had stocked up the night before on some treats for the occasion.
Feast of plenty: pepper philly cheese, crackers, celery, carrots, hummus and a dessert of kinder surprise chocolate and cherries!
Our mums would be so proud
Kinder surprise toys- surprised at how simple they've become in the years since. There's still the initial struggle to pop open the container but none of the searching around for minuscule parts or poring over instructions. Conveniently comes ready-made minus stickers- no challenge required.
Nambucca Heads
Seal rocks
Gorgeous, secluded & perfect beach, now unfortunately tainted with car troubles.
- Arrived low on fuel to find that all the fuel stations within petrol-we-had-left-in-our-tank-distance were closed for the day.
- Further alarmed with loud clunking and squealing noise with every wheel rotation.
- Lifted hood and checked oil, water and poked at things that looked suspicious
- peered under car, checked tyres and hoped some nice stranger would stop and help- or at least offer some kind of advice
- Decide to drive our screeching fuel-deficient car to nearby caravan park and stay for the night.
- Caravan park booked out, things looking dismal- as we reverse van on angle, screaming thumping stops. Much rejoicing.
- Decide to drive dirt road and mini range to nearest petrol station. In vain hopes we name our van Betty so as to give encouragement to an inanimate object.
- After eagle eyeing fuel gauge for near to half an hour we sight service station.
- Breath sigh of relief and celebrate greatly on nearby park & playground.

Bounce bounce b-b-b-bounce!
We drove a little further into Taree- you may recall that Lyndie & Steve used to live here when I visited them last. Township was completely deserted, felt a little chilling actually. Upon realising that there were no rooms at any inns (now I can appreciate the irony) we decided to have dinner at the major road stop service station. One thing led to another and we decided to use the shower there (quite clean actually) and sleep in the McDonald's car park. Tick! Slept in a car park.
