The Underarm Backhand Flick Technique

On Saturday we drove on up to Wollongong where we had planned to catch up with fellow Brisbanites- Glen, Jo and Dexter. We wandered around the township, had lunch in a very cool loft/ gallery place called Yours & Owls and I came across an interesting group of old Italian men arguing over chess on a life size board.

Yours and Owls was definitely a highlight- you know it's going to be good when the menu is in a children's book on unicorns...with the story still inside! I had some freshly made strawberry and apple juice while looking around at the incredible photographs from India, Iceland and Australia pinned to the wall.

Onto the beach...!

When he wasn't making friends with complete strangers, he was contemplating the universe...

We were very graciously offered a bed for the night at Beth's house for which we were ever so grateful. I gave Bonny her birthday present of a good night's sleep by offering up the bed.

  1. Can't remember whether I told you before or not, but I realised that the cafe we were talking about was Lee & Me, not Yours & Owls! I had a peek in Yours & Owls but it was closed... in the middle of the day... so not sure why.

Was great to catch up with you - should do it a little closer to home again sometime soon!
