For those of you living under a rock, here's what has been happening of late in my state. To give a little perspective 75% of Queensland is declared a disaster zone (that's enough flood water to cover France and Germany combined!) So here are some pics and a few incredible videos.

Good thing Aussies still have a sense of humour- Wally Lewis Statue at the stadium decked out appropriately.
The Flash Floods in the Lockyer Valley Region and Toowoomba were the most devastating because of their nature, noone had time to prepare. Toowoomba doesn't even have a river system, barely a creek through it so it is amazing to see the sheer power of the water rushing through streets that I know; past places where I used to work.
No kidding.
Just the beginning of a huge cleanup for the State.
