lets do the timewarp....again...

So my neighbours seem to be having a geriatric booze up and at the moment timewarp is blaring loudly from the speakers accompanied by "booyah" shouts. Ahh gotta love life in the suburbs. It's giving me third grade P.E. flashbacks where we did the timewarp dance. Of course I had no idea of the connotations associated with the performance- all I remember was how fun it was to fall down at the end...

Busy day yesterday, mum at hospital for last major dose of chemo and MABthera before the stem cell replacement surgery. She wrote out a list of chores for dad and I to do in her absence, she's a smart cookie, that one. She knows if she leaves dad and I without things to do that we'll take advantage and bludge around watching movies and moving as little as possible. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We both injured ourselves doing yard work, dad got hit in the ear by wire mesh recoil and I sliced off a lot of thumb skin on an azalea bush. That was the point where I gave up. Understandably... On the bright side of things I have now developed a new method of touch typing using my right index finger to do all the space barring, so you better be grateful for the labourious effort on my part to bring you this post. We also now have a passable side garden with a lemon tree, ruby grapefruit tree, lime tree and lemonade tree, brick wall, pebble path and mulch! It's kind of sad that I'm so excited about this achievement...

I'll make this do for now, it's a sad offering but it will have to do.
