Bah, humbug!

We have clouds, more importantly, clouds with water in them! Hurrah! Hurrah! Pelting, pouring, destroying kind of rain. Love it.

I can ignore it no longer; the silly season is now upon us. Our neighbour Noel has his Christmas light extravaganza set up, the shops are filled with decorations and today I heard my first christmas carol of the season. I don't like Christmas. I loved it when I was a kid, having the seafood lunch up at Hervey Bay on my cousins' chicken farm and swimming in the pool after to get away from the stinking heat... Last years holidays just stuffed me up, had all these new ones to consider like thanksgiving and Halloween (my absolute favourite holiday!) and the fact that Christmas was cold. I think it's more that I like Christmas but I hate the idea of Christmas, everyone goes a little mental. Last year was chrissy in New York, no presents, no family, no rush, just tonnes of decorations and NEW YORK! What more can I say? I also like when Starbucks releases the red cups and the xmas menu.

I think I like Christmas more than I let on.




I saw this dress in a magazine or something and finally tracked it down, a little versace number which I LOVE! The cut of this is amazing, emphasising curves but so very flattering, I'm thoroughly in lust with it.
