Okay, time for a confession: the reason I haven't been blogging as much is that I bought myself an indulgent present. At this point I might reveal that I am not a huge computer game freak (you either are or you aren't.) I bought the Sims 3. There you go. It may have had something to do with the fact that I was particularly missing Ayla and that was one activity we used to do on her laptop before it crashed. It was so fun making little goth families and farmer families and trying to hook up single sims. So since the day of purchase I have been more than a little obsessed. Firstly I created a mocha man named Ziggy who had gorgeous green eyes, he is single and looking for love. He has a small comfy house and he is athletic and a bit of a bookworm. This afternoon I created my second sims as a couple already, the Jones' (because every town has them) Marley and Rania are very happy together, she works at the hospital and he is a muso. Unfortunately this leaves them little time to hang out together because of his late hours but they're trying for a baby as both of them are fairly family orientated and romantic. They have a pretty amazing house seeing as I built it from scratch. I have been gradually decorating it as they earn money.
My latest and last is a family: Mae Blackburn is a blonde with scarily blue eyes and hates children, despite having two of them. She is evil and grumpy most of the time and her aim in life is to rule the world. Of course her ambition for now is to head the crime syndicate in Sunset Valley. Her husband has black hair in a mohawk and serious stubble. He is slightly insane, a little childish and hates art. He flirts with married women in the park and has a good relationship with his rebellious daughter, Gerdi. His son has defied all family traits by being a bit of a nerd but he 'aquires' goods from others by just 'borrowing' them.
It's so funny and twisted that someone has gone through this painstaking detail to create such a reality. It's a bit like playing God with the free will section taken out. The reason I'm writing this post at all, I have to admit is that while finally resting my bones on my bed, lying in the darkness and waiting for sleep. Something crawled ONTO MY HEAD. I could feel the legs just on the top of my forehead by my hairline. Automatic hand flick and shake while stifling scream and reaching for the light switch. Covers were shaken out, clothes checked, head patted down in squashing motions (not recommended) Nothing. Must have flicked it far enough. I will mention now that I have just installed a black mosquito net over my WHOLE ROOM!

hehehe i am jealous, is sims 3 way better than 2?! I haven't thought about it for a long time until a couple days ago I had a craving to play the sims. But now my computer broke again. Can't see anything on the screen when you turn it on. Called them, its under the same thing as my other crash and would be under the extended warranty except that I was 3 WEEKS too late. Fricken unbelievable. So a new laptop is in the books. Jeepers. I need a job. And also - I think you should think about moving to a permanent place and job,but I know job searching is not enjoyable. Look and then quit if you find something. I have a package almost ready to send to you so I will send to your parents address this week. Talk to ya soon!
