too good to be true?

Had a great day at work today. Then I got terminated. I'm not right for the job because the boss thinks I am more of a conservation framer (which I am) and am therefore not a good fit for the place apparently. I was getting on great with all the people that work there, doing jobs concisely and on time, working with the systems in place and then he hits me with this bomb. The annoying thing is just on Friday he was talking about dropping a casual so that I could be full-time. Now this. I don't know what to do or even where this came from. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I'm really upset and angry about the way it was dealt with. He didn't even have the decency to talk to me face to face. It's rude and impolite. I deserve that courtesy at least.
