For the next couple of days I thought I might update on my days spend in LA and Orange County along with some piccies that have probably blocked up the memory of my parents' computer.
Thursday 23rd: Mexico.
Bright and early in the morning, Sam and I were reluctantly torn from our beds. After stumbling and bumbling around with only about 5 hours sleep, we managed to pile ourselves into the car and be on our way. Lourdes was driving, for which I was glad as she is originally from Mexico City and was insistent that 'my people' would welcome us into Mexico. As soon as we crossed the border there was a drastic change, like stepping into another world. Granted, the first sight you are greeted with is Tijuana...not the most exemplary Mexican city...

A 'typical' Mexican restaurant...love it!

Only in Mexico... police were just to the left of this picture, just standing around and hanging out, as you do...

This food store was absolutely chockers full of stuff...pinata's hanging from every available space on the ceiling and merchandise stacked high.
We stopped in at Fox Studios Baja, where they filmed Titanic, Die another Day and Master and Commander. It was basically just us there so we got personal tours from a guy called Angel. A lot of silliness went on, as can be assumed when there are movie props involved...
