I started packing the other day...disaster! I have accumulated SO much stuff! I thought that I had one bag sorted but had to go through it again and be really tough with myself. It makes me really sad to be leaving stuff that I so want to take home. I pulled out a dress that did look so small when it was rolled up (because I'm told that takes up less space) and I love it so much. Alas, it had to be sacrificed. Ayla's reasoning was that it didn't take up much space...they all don't individually but somehow together the clothes and the shoes and just the dumb stuff have filled up my bags far too quickly. Hopefully all the severing of these clothes from my life will prove my mother's 'vacuum effect' theory, the more you get rid of, the more you can receive.
