All quiet on the home front...

In case you hadn't heard already, I have a new job! I am now on my way to becoming a Flight Centre travel consultant. As exciting as this initially sounds, it's actually a lot of hard work. I have been totally saturated with training modules, computer systems and overloaded with all the logins I now have to use on a daily basis. So while I still get to dream everyday of new locations for my next holiday, I have been treading water after being chucked in the deep end.

Today was the first glimpse of light at the end of the novice tunnel- I made my very first booking! Ver. ver. elated about that...anything with jumping up and down in the back room has got to be good.

So what have I been doing in the meantime? WELL. Passenger gig with Inland Sea as supporting act. Amazing, as usual. Mike Rosenberg, as improbable as it sounds, just gets better every time. He smashes out live! Went to an art exhibition at UQ titled Space Invaders. Lots of glorious street art. Some very talented people out there. You can even download some interactive stuff from the exhibition here. To have a peek at what's on show head over to the main site.

To finish it up, I have been finding plenty of giggles with old Robin Williams stand up. Guaranteed smiles at the very least...otherwise I'll be checking your circuit board, you cyborg!
