Accomplishment of the Day: making a pinhole camera

Yesterday I spent a very productive day making a pinhole camera. I downloaded and printed out a template of a Hasselblad from a very patient lady who created it. Should you have the time (or the inclination) see her site here. So after cutting, slicing, gluing and lots of fiddling around it is complete with film roll...and nifty turning apparatus. Ta- Dah!

I particularly like the little exposure time details.

I will let you know if any of these photos turn out, and of course post them on here. Should be an interesting result!

  2. Thats awesome, I can't wait to see the photos! I remember we did this in photography class in Australia, but the boxes were just, well, boxes. I like the exposure time details too, but i'm confused - why is 4-8 like a bright sun and 12-20 is dimmer with a sun behind a cloud? Is that actually how it works or am I interpreting it wrong?
