cancelled carols and an Irish guy.

Yes, it has been a while but in my defense I believed that no-one actually read this...apparently I was a little bit wrong. On Saturday night a bunch of my friends were all set to head to the city carols session. Wild horses couldn't drag me there but just as well because it was pretty much going to be a rain out. Beck invited us all around to their place for pizza and to meet an Irish guy who was around town. That was the only explanation given- "carols are cancelled + Irish dude. Must have been quite a drawing card because I wasn't aware that many friends and friends of friends lived in the area! It was quite surprising to gather about 40 people on two days notice. Impressive indeed. 

There were quite a few fresh faces, always a plus. We learnt a few republican Gaelic phrases thanks to Garret/Garth (can't quite remember his name.) Which bear no repeating seeing as the only one I remember was of course the worst one to remember. Isn't that the way it always is? I didn't take my camera along with me so I have no photos to justify the general good times so these will have to do:
