Dreams & schemes & circus crowds...

Dreamworld theme park this Saturday gone for Flavia visiting from Brasil. You all may recall about a month ago, me writing about Mundo Churrosco restaurant experience where we had a certain Brazilian casanova with us; well that was Flavia's brother, Andre. So now to introduce the other sibling to Australia, Marcus organised a group of us to go to Dreamworld for the day, get in a few thrills on the rollercoasters. Most of them were very tame. All but one were very tame however it was fantastic just for the company and good to be out and about. Who doesn't like acting like a kid for a day? Photos, photos...here you go:

Once we were booted out of the park at 5pm, we headed to Marcus' parent's place down at the Goldie. They were all staying near surfers for the weekend so we invaded the luxurious apartment on the 25th floor and made adequate use of hot tub and heated pool. Mmmmm... Unfortunately I had tired of taking photos by that stage so will have to rely on Flavia for visual aids. We had Maria's gourmet pizza for tea and later on walked into Surfer's Paradise for some coffee/hot beverages/ cold drinks. ( I have thought about rephrasing that last sentence but when I put 'we went for drinks' it sounds like we were boozing it up or something...) Very much enjoyed this Saturday, good company, fun people and plenty of thrills!

  1. I am so glad you corrected my misconception that the koala is a bear. Whew! I won't sound like a fool anymore. And now I can go around correcting people. How fun!

I didn't know you knew Chris! Say hi from me!
