On a whim...

I don't feel like a blog post really but know that I should after leaving it for so long. Gotta convince myself that I'll feel good about it afterwards... Went on a rambling roadtrip today, one thing leading to another. It all started with some innocent library returns then I thought I might browse the plant section at Bunnings ( I do love wandering and almost always end up buying something or other.) Today I managed to walk away with only a packet of coriander seeds, a lucky escape. I was also looking for a celosia crest plant which has the most exquisite flower and a pomegranate tree. The celosia flower is kind of like brain coral but is fuzzy to the touch and comes in some very intense colours.

Then I had a whim to visit IKEA. Since I am the master of my own happiness these days, I decided a stroll through all the nifty little displays would enhance my day somewhat. It did! I bought a desk that has been long awaited and some little storage boxes for my bookshelf- I am going to be an organisation queen!

I am very glad to be back in contact again, left my phone behind again. (*sigh*) I continue to be amazed at how forgetful I am with things like my mobile and social events etc whereas I can retain so many other useless facts. I'm sure this skill will come in handy if I ever come up against a shpinx, otherwise...
