I was in a creative mood so got out my spools of thread and my sheets of felt and my oodles of buttons and got myself all ready. I lined up the spools of vibrant colours on a shelf and realised just how cool they all looked in front of the colourful covers of my Harry Potter books. All in all, I ended up making two very cool brooches for my up and coming etsy store.
This one is more like a removable jacket motif and I have since ironed out a way to make it sit right. Of course I understand you all don't have a vintage WWII uniform to wear it on but I'm sure it would add a bit of fun to any winter blazer. The other is a cluster button brooch which I feel turned out rather well but I haven't had the time to photograph it properly (or to my satisfaction anyway.)
