My immune system's out to get me

Yeah, yeah it's been a while, I know. It's been a tough week to say the least...mum is in hospital for her stem cell replacement surgery so she's been having full on chemo for the last 6 days to strip her bone marrow of all existing white blood cells so that the new ones can be reinserted. I really wanted to go in to see her today but it would seem my own immune system is not strong enough to fight off a simple cold so that I can visit mum. Her system is going to be very vulnerable to infection etc so I don't want to be the one bringing bad germies in to her isolation wing. I'm glad Sam is here during the day, it keeps me a little sane to have someone else besides dad here. He's always pretty laid back and happy so it makes it easier. 

There is so many things that I really want to get into, just a matter of getting my butt into gear and doing them. Start an etsy store, create some fun things for that store, make some extra cash off selling vintage stuff on ebay. I have to get out of this funk and start creating again. It's such a pleasure to bring something new into this world that you have designed and worked on yourself. If someone appreciates it and wants to be a part of the creation, that would be enough. I have time enough on my hands to start the process but need to get out and find the inspiration around me. Time to hit the CBD me thinks. It's always a buffet of human nature in it's most raw form.
