Seriously, I am a legend. Today I cooked four batches of fudge: caramel, dark chocolate and a double batch of milk chocolate. My family is going to love me. Not my mum and dad though. They had to put up with me screaming and ranting about the house when things went wrong (that would be me putting twice the amount of butter in than was required.) I gave them the saucepan to lick out the leftover warm fudge so I think I'm forgiven for now. I feel like I have been going at it all day, vacuuming the bare lounge room, pruning , baking and making chicken schnitzels for tea (yum!) Mum made a wicked salad to go with, had mango in it, delish. I really have been talking far too much about food lately.
Tomorrow is the day: flooring of the lounge to be completed: I'm a little excited to see how it all looks seeing as I'm mainly responsible for choosing wood flooring and then persuading mum to like it also. I think it will really open up the room and the piano is going to sound awesome on timber. I drew up some spacial plans for mum to consider, eight I believe. Of course she opted to choose secret option number nine...
A new creative plan have I. One of my friends had a old golden book that someone had given to her as a gift. It had been rebound with pages inserted in so that it could be used as a note/sketch book. The whole story was still there with pages of the original story scattered in amongst it all. So I am going to create my own such thing with mum's old noddy book. It's very old and I was quite sad to see it in such a state, falling to bits and all sticky-taped together. So it's getting a new lease on life, and I'm getting a one of a kind notebook. How fun!

I used to make a batch of fudge every week and eat the whole thing myself. Delicious. :)
