Home from convention, what a wonderful break away. So spiritually refreshed and ready to make the changes that need to come into effect. The weather was stinking hot (for me anyway) mainly just because it was super humid without actually raining. So I am home and have scrubbed myself clean of all the dirt and moisture. Mum even turned on the a/c in my room so that it would be cool when I got home, how sweet is she? A fantastic four days indeed. Drastic overhaul to be implemented for myself. I've just got to go out and DO! Too long I've been sitting around commiserating my inability to decide where to live next when I should be active in something to get the ball rolling, as it were. Tomorrow, after a not-getting-up-at-5.30-in-the-morning morning I'm being proactive in searching for work, anywhere. It'll be interesting to see what comes up, maybe whatever falls into place easily is where I'm meant to be. I'm going to pray more for others and start making some good habits. We had a visiting worker from Brazil who could only speak Portuguese so his sermons had to be translated. It was a very interesting experience: him totally relying on the interpreter to correctly transcribe his message to us and the interpreter working so hard to use the right words to best translate the meaning. Very moving to hear about his many experiences and the hardships that he has labouring for the gospel story in his own country.
Sleep is necessary, my batteries are run low. Till tomorrow!
