the blogging silence is over...

Internet at last...it has been dark dark days! The reason for the breaking of such silence is my brand-spanking new laptop! It seems like I've been dreaming of such a possession for such a long time and now it is mine! I'm warning you, I'm going to go crazy with the pictures once I'm all up and running! Today will just be a little update on my latest and greatest...

I'm currently in Rockhampton, home of far too many life sized bull statues. Seems to be the thing here and for some reason this town has chosen to be proud of these multicoloured monstrousitites. At the moment I'm on the road with two awesome girlies, Dee and Angel. Our team has been totally reconfigured, Tegan quit so she could be with her partner and family in Brisbane and these girls came on board when we were in Cairns. They have done this circuit before with the company so it's fantastic to be instantly relaxed with them, they can do the job and have fun. We have a blast at work, high fives all around to keep us upbeat and laughing especially when we're dead on our feet busy or dead on our feet with boredom. Rocky has been great so far in terms of kids in shopping centres, everyone here wants to get photos done, which is a refreshing change. We also have a prime spot in a brand new section of the mall. Loving it!

We're in a crappy hotel again which is slowly becoming the norm. It's not too bad on the whole though. Dee and I both had our day off on Tuesday so we headed up to the beach up at Yeppoon. It was lovely, had fish and chips on the beach and found a secluded spot on the sand to bake. Dee actually fell asleep...I'm reading my book and relaxing and I suddenly hear snores, it was so funny! As a result she actually got a tan line of which she was very proud. We went for a swim but after wading for about 50m into the water it was still only knee deep so we settled in. With many "beached as bro!" comments, we paddled and bobbed in the warm water.

At the moment we have Justin here (whose official role in the company is as a trainer)because he was meant to be training a new girl for our team. She was here for one day and then she quit, so that worked out well! Finally found out a grand schedule of where we're going in the next little while... Brissy for 4 weeks, whitsundays for 2, Mackay 2 weeks and then Cairns again. Of course this is all subject to change at will. I'll leave you with a few pics and also will add some photos to older posts.
