or both?
That is the question. Yesterday I started to get eczema again. I haven't had it for years now so it was a bit of a shock to see it back again. The type that I get swells the skin and appears in little bubbles filled with clear fluid. It rears it's ugly head, spreading it's blanket of fury in between my fingers. It would be a fascinating story to study if it didn't itch so much.
It's when you scratch it, that's when it ensnares you. You just can't stop. If you scratch it so that the top layer of skin breaks, the fluid spills out, warm and sticky. It dries and reforms into its' bubbles then toys with you again, daring you to repeat the sequence.
I usually get it from dairy products, mostly milk. That is the reason why, as a child, I was forced to drink horrible brands of soy milk and litres of carrot juice. Thankfully they brought out lactose free milk that has a semblance of normality. I'm beginning to think that it might also have been a reaction to how much sugar I have been eating lately. It's a possibility. So I'm taking immediate action and cutting sugar, dairy and flour out of my diet. It's harsh but I need to do it to get rid of this rash. To get rid of the puffy, swollen fingers and the incessant itching.

This is actually one of my favorite posts of yours. Very evocative descriptions. Sounds horrible. My fourth toe on my left foot just started going crooked for some unknown reason and I think I am way too old for pimples, but God likes to keep us humble. :)
