Some Canadian game...

If you're wondering the reason why I have been posting so much lately (and will probably post again later today) is that I have been home for a few days. Yesterday it was sickness...I had pretty severe back pains all night and couldn't sleep. Today I just have off... so as you can see I'm utilising the time well.

Last night Ayla whipped out this game which I have to admit I had substantial doubts about but once we got playing it was fun! It's kinda a mix between lawn bowls and snooker but on a board. It got quite vicious after a while and I decimated Ayla in my first game! Sadly, she whipped me in the second one. Do you like the fruit tablecloth that Shonna insists on putting on? We take it off and hide it sometimes but it always gets unearthed somehow. There's a lovely dark wood table under there, maybe she's trying to protect it from our spills.

So today I am going to be testing out my vacuum bags (which incidently you don't need a vacuum for) and start to pack some of my stuff up to go home! My mother managed to get me some very cheap flights home...how does $300 incl taxes from LA to Brisbane sound? Connections, it's all about connections! I'm so excited, going to meet up with Sam in LA (or rather Orange County) which is clearly not a part of LA. We are going to have a BLAST! She's organising stuff for us to do but I am not allowed to know which is kind of fun for a surprise, but kind of annoying too!

I can't wait to be home and see the sun again, be on the beach without a jumper on! Be on a white sandy beach full-stop. I really miss my mum and dad and my brother Sam but I will be seeing them soon...tra la la la laaaaa!
