EXTRA! EXTRA! Read all about it!

I know I have been very slack on the communication front these days but I do have a legitimate reason...I have been working my tail off at my temp job. The result: they like me so much that the firm offered me full time work as an administrator! I did have to go through a rather informal interview (at a coffee shop) but must have managed to say something right because, well here I am! There was much rejoicing (insert a victory clasp or two here.) Unfortunately I will be moved away from my much beloved marketing girls and go through some cubicle buddy separation anxiety but the transition should go fairly well. Looking forward to a new role that does not involve so much of my brain matter dribbling out of my ears. 

Anyways now I am all officey and get to wear heels to work and have my own desk and double screen computer. How very inner city of me. As a celebration of sorts I actually felt like shopping. This is rare. I'm talking new shopping, op shopping is not in the same class (it is above.) I found some racy shoes to prance around in and as my job does not require a whole lot of walking, I think I can manage. I can almost feel the increased heart-rate of men in the greater Brisbane area!

In the meantime, big plans for the weekend, going with Bonny to see the Valentino exhibition at GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art) and also to a concert Sat night to see Basement Birds and Old Man River. Sunday night dinner with some friends of which I am planning to make some treats for dessert...I'm thinking a Italian Chocolate cake with berries and cream and nanaimo bars... Any other suggestions?
