Tick Tick Tick ghnnnnn!

Any day spent using power tools is bound to be a good day. I do love to tinker. There's a  constant need for my room or wall decor to be changing and evolving... since my screen idea has had it's run I was scanning for something else to do with the bare wall in my bedroom. Clocks! Of course. My canadian friends get annoyed because I can never bother to work out the time difference (and therefore wake them up so very early or catch them in the midnight snack stage of things.) So my grand plan was to get all sorts of retro clocks from thrift stores/ garage sales etc. and create a clock wall with world times. This didn't work out so well. Turns out the clocks that are left in the 2nd hand stores are there for a reason. I bought them anyway thinking I would figure out something to do with them.

Long story short, by pulling them all apart and managing to reconstruct (it's much easier than I make out!) I am well on my way to that world clock wall, this one is going to be one of a kind... here's what I worked on today:

Most of these have not had the final touches yet and as a result are very hard to read. Once I construct a way for these community chest and chance cards to defy gravity, this one will join them.

I may have to invest in some earplugs to get to sleep tonight...
