I'm everything exhausted, my mind is saying no, by body is saying no and my usual buoyant spirit is saying no. I just need to fall into a heap and rest. Today was unbelievable, debit machines down and credit not working half the time... I can't believe I'm in an industry where this is even an issue let alone a major catastrophe! All this aside, I'm leaving for Banff/Canmore on Thursday which I am really getting just a little excited about (just quietly.) We'll be dogsledding on the friday, iceskating on Lake Louise at night, and snowboarding for the first time (eek) on sat. It sounds ludicrous but I am looking forward to being bruised and sore, it will be a long weekend well spent!
I'm missing home a lot these days, miss mum and dad and especially my bro. Can't wait to get home and just be home, you know. There's a feeling that you get when you are just home, not doing anything in particular but just being still. It's an inactive peace that comes with truly feeling comfortable in one place.
